Original oil painting of a large sugar maple tree in autumn, that has continued to thrive, despite the pruning of many of its branches to make way for power lines. Also depicted is a nurse walking her dog. The painting was mostly completed in 2020, a year when a global pandemic took many lives and nurses were arguably our most essential workers and heroes.
